The visiting time of this temple is from 4.30am to 11.45 am and from 5.30pm to 8.30 pm. Non-Hindus are not allowed into the inner sanctum of this temple. Temple of Goddess Bhagavathi
This is another popular temple of the region dedicated to Bhagavathi – the Goddess of Power. Vivekananda Rock Memorial
The Vivekananda Rock Memorial is the temple compound situated 500 meters from the sea coast on the huge rock islands. It is believed that the great philosopher Swami Vivekananda had meditated on the rock and attained enlightenment. Vivekananda Rock Memorial was built in honour of this philosopher who had given new outlook to Indian culture.
